this commit also removed some HTML files, namely
doc/rear-presentation.html
doc/rear.8.html
doc/user-guide/relax-and-recover-user-guide.html
I guess this removals are intentionally but because
they are not mentioned in the commit message
I like to ask for a confirmation that they are really
removed intentionally and not by accident.

@jsmeix I believe that HTML files should not be part of commits as these can be build from the source asciidoc files - want to avoid that developer start editing the html files instead of the source files (adoc)

Perfectly o.k. for me to not have also HTML files in the sources.
I find it already confusing to have both doc/rear.8
and doc/rear.8.adoc - I always edited both of them.
Should I edit only doc/rear.8.adoc because doc/rear.8
is autogenerated from doc/rear.8.adoc?

@jsmeix correct - only edit rear.8.adoc - make doc will regenerate the man page
