Version 2.0.4
This release addresses changes with the way sfdisk
data was exported from previous versions. This is an important fix for restoring any backups created with version 1.0.x that contained extended partitions. Other additions:
- Added NFS network share support for reading/writing backup images
- SSH server is now preinstalled and disabled by default (enable with
/root/enable-ssh
) - The option to start another operation appears when a process is completed, rather than simply the Exit button (e.g. once you verify an image, you can click this to start the restore, rather than being forced to exit and restart the Redo application)
Also, questions from users suggests that many have been confused by partclone
error messages relayed verbatim, e.g. Input/output error
, and incorrectly concluded that Redo Rescue was at fault. These error messages have been improved to suggest possible causes such as hardware failure, network disconnection, and corrupted filesystems.
