I'll explain this with a single example, however I am having this issue with all artists, so I assume it is an issue across the board.
I have the following artist added: Palisades (id = 796f730a-c418-4f5e-80ea-d1216873a447)

I am fetching the following Extras for this artist (EP, Compilation, Soundtrack, Other)

However, their Various Artists release groups do not get added to Headphones
Palisades' regular release group list
Palisades' Various Albums release groups list

Since I've added Soundtracks and Compilations, I expect to find "Punk Goes Pop, Volume 6", however it does not show. I may be misunderstanding these terms, but am I missing something? Is there anything I can do to add these albums? I even added all extras for this artist and refreshed, and this Punk Goes Pop album still does not show up.

I am on Ubuntu, btw

If Palisades had their own compilation album as a release group within Palisades artist on Musicbrainz then it would show up in Headphones if Extras Compilation selected.

Headphones will not currently show Various Artist albums that have Palisades on them via Extras.

Maybe we could add another Extras category, something like 'On various artists compilations'

Yeah, I'd really like to see that. I figured that would have been covered under Compilations, but that's likely only because I'm so new to both Headphones and MusicBrainz.

I'm honestly surprised this has never been brought up before.
