Hi @retorquere here is my recent debug log ID KKMUVIL9-refs-euc
I did what you said, installed the test build, changed the citation key formula, then changed it again to the desired, and then got the debug log id.
It still shows the second field active citation formula.
Just in case the desired citation forumla is this: authEtal2(sep='.').lower + '_' + year
It shows well now, the problem is just that still the second field "active citation..." displays.

Hi Emiliano, I did it and it apparently got fixed, I don't know why but the second field "active..." doesn't show anymore. And the citation key is the desired.
Either way I did the process and the debug log ID is this: XLTMMAPB-refs-euc

That's only supposed to show when the field you are editing is not (yet) a valid formula. In that case it informs you what formula is actually active. But if the formula you entered is valid, that will also be the active one.
