Issue

It would decrease the time you spend on Youtube and help you to only use it as a helpful tool. It would also be very useful for people struggling with an addiction with Youtube.

Patch

The patch would by deafult slim Youtube down to only a searchbar, but of course the user should be given the options in settings to bring back and customise which features should be shown, like the home or subscribtion feed.

Motivation

Many people in the modern day struggle with digital addiction and procrastionation on Youtube, with this patch people who have issues with that would be given an option to limit their usage of Youtube and not get sucked in the algorithm but still be able to use Youtube as helpful tool.
