Application

YouTube

Issue

There are channels whose content is really slow and can be sped up (lessons, courses, psychology stuff etc) , at 1.75* speed for example

On the other hand, most other videos play well at 1* speed ..

Patch

Would be handy to have the settings being remember on a per channel basis , so of i watch stuff from Jordan Peterson channel for example, it uses the last speed i used for it , 1.75* lets say

And leave any other channel/video at regular speed (be it 1* regular .....or default speed as per revanced settings )

Motivation

It would allow for slow videos to be sped up without impacting other kind of content

Something to model after would be what this browser script has: can "save" the current speed for the channel as well as define speed buttons to be on the video overlay (as requested on #1620).

Over time, a lot of feature requests have been made, which is why I am closing some according to the contribution guidelines:

Requests can be accepted or rejected at the discretion of maintainers of ReVanced Patches

This feature request has been closed for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Stale for too long
  • Low priority
  • Maintainers un-interested
  • Too complex to realize

Regardless, anyone who comes across this feature request can PR it. Thanks for the feature request!
