When setting imageEmbed to false, the image is not showing at is original notation.
I use a IMG tag in my resources. Maybey you can make a option to convert the img tag or only urls and enable/disable the function complete.

Now you can set an array of extensions ( linkExclude ) to exclude from converting into links.
