Limit decimal places #3
Comments
Hi @LucPestille, Thanks for response. It is not exactly about Retina. Script use points when resolution of document is not 72 pixels/inch. I can’t understand how did you obtain a value like 18.98374986345pt. Did you use 1344 pixels/inch for your document? :-) If not, show me please a screenshot of your File ▸ New... dialog. Anyway, you’re right — it needed to limit decimal places. |
Ah, that'll be it - PhotoShop had been helpful as usual by defaulting the new document res to 72.0009 ppi - my PS was fine, but my two colleagues (on retina laptops) had the issue, thought that was the common denominator. Good script though, will save countless man hours in the long run. |
Solved in v1.0. @LucPestille, reinstall the script, please. |
On a retina Mac using Photoshop CC, it seems that the script outputs both pt and px sizing for the layer, the pt size having about 10 decimal places. You end up with something like "18.98374986345pt / 354px" as the text, which is obviously not very neat (or helpful). On a non-retina Mac with Photoshop CC, only the px size is shown.
Might be a setting somewhere in Photoshop itself, but not sure what / where. Any ideas?
