In rqt_console, there is a "Fit Columns" button, which expands all the columns so that their contents isn't truncated. I propose that "Fit Columns" should be renamed to a toggle button "Expand Columns" and an additional, mutually-exclusive toggle button should be added which causes the columns to fit within the window as it gets resized.

That should be fairly easy to integrate. Can you please explain how you would like the columns sizes to be allocated within the window size?

@jbohren If we can lock down the important behaviors that are missing this should be pretty trivial for me to add them.

I am envisioning replacing the fit columns button with a general button that brings up a list with a few reasonable options to adjust the column state.
