Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) released, so is there any plan to support Ubuntu 22.04?

There won't be any official support for ROS 1 on Ubuntu Jammy or newer. There is some community effort however:
https://github.com/ros-o/ros-o/discussions

you can either compile from source or use the packages from https://github.com/v4hn/ros-o-builder/tree/jammy-one

If you are a beginner I would recommend sticking to 20.04 for ROS 1
