Time entry templates as a concept exist to remove the repetition involved with entering what you've done over a billing period. By providing an interface that accepts a time entry subject, e.g. "automated tests for billing section", we can then generate a more discrete set of activities involved with that subject, which should be generally correct.

In this example "Automated tests for billing section" could become 3 different activities over the course of a few days, i.e.

• Developing automated tests for billing section
• Testing automated tests for billing section
• Verifying automated tests for billing section
