This is by design. An Angular.JS application works differently from say a C application. We're trying to do what makes sense for Angular.JS. Have a look at the issues and comments linked in #20. |

Not having gettext() return a translated string is very inconsistent with implementations in most other languages. This PR makes the function work as expected.
