at the moment trigger handles each signal in one of two ways

  1. "sync detected" and reset trigger position index

  2. "next tooth event has arrived"

at the moment "next tooth event has arrived" does not check which wheel or what kind of event has arrived while it could totally do that!

the benefit would be - subary 7/6 for example with broken crank sensor would run just fine on just the cam trigger. at the moment 7/6 does not run right on just 7
