USB vs bluetooth protocol profiles

We use (undocumented?) maxUnusedRuntimeRange = 1000 in order to get best USB performance which is the 99% use-case 8e68c40

the vocal 1% of the users are looking for wireless access which would benefit from a much smaller maxUnusedRuntimeRange value.
