sage: hypergeometric((3/4, 1/4), (5/4,), -I).simplify_hypergeometric()
...
TypeError: ECL says: Error executing code in Maxima: sign: argument cannot be imaginary; found %i

Upstream: Not yet reported upstream; Will do shortly.
