not sure how to do this, but it's great to have this feature to share a photo with just a single link

Yeah, good idea. For the galleria theme it must be possible with the history plugin, though for colorbox it doesn't seem possible.

Update galleria to 1.3.5 and add the history plugin (ref #93).

@seansay I have updated galleria and added the history plugin (which add hash tags for permalinks). As colorbox does not support this feature, I'm closing the issue.
