How to connect this storefront to saleor backend?

I've been looking into using the saleor dashboard and core along with the react-storefront since the saleor-storefront has been deprecated in favor of this one. However I can't figure out how to connect the saleor backend to this frontend, is there some kind of guide for how to do that so I can add products through the saleor dashboard and have them show up on the react front end?

okay, I set my environment variables in .env.local according to the readme, does this look correct for future reference? Also is the VERCEL part necessary if I'm not using vercel? I'm planning on using Vultr for hosting

@basedceo we are simplifying this configuration. Once this PR is merged, the only thing to set on your side will be the NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URI.
