This project is a Chrome extension that allows you to select text on a webpage and automatically generate an image from it. This can be useful for creating quick visuals from interesting snippets of text.
- Select text on any webpage
- Right click "Flamoid"
- Automatically generate an image from the selected text
To install this extension, you will need to load it into Chrome as an unpacked extension. Here are the steps:

Download or clone this repository to your local machine.

Open the Chrome browser and navigate to
chrome://extensions. -
At the top right, turn on
Developer mode. -
Click
Load unpacked. -
Navigate to the location where you downloaded or cloned this repository, and select the folder containing the extension files.

The extension should now be loaded into Chrome and ready to use.
- Click on the Flamoid extension plugin to add your OpenAI API Key
- Optionally include additional prompting instructions desired
- Simply select some text on a webpage, right-click, and choose
Flamoidfrom the context menu. The image will be automatically generated and inserted into the webpage
