A log system is needed to accommodate eventual messages of exceptions and warnings generated during the translation process. For example, it should:

  • provide feedback to the user if something fails, e.g., running it with Java 10;
  • warn users when a file exists. Here, the converter will ask user's confirmation if the file should be overwitten in case of existance.
