Since Scheme has no owner, no website has the moral authority to be its official site. The closest thing to an official site would be one that has the blessing of Sussman and Steele. I hope Scheme.org will eventually be the most popular and comprehensive Scheme site.

Re: minimalism, R5RS was minimalist but R6RS and R7RS-large are quite big, and a number of implementations are quite large. |

How about this?:
Comprehensive website for the Scheme programming language. Scheme is
a dynamically typed, mostly functional language with hygienic macros.
It is a dialect of Lisp.
There should also be Twitter card and Open Graph meta tags. They are mostly for social media. |
@jcubic How do we add those? Is it better to have more or less detail in the meta description? |
The meta description doesn't hurt but for a long time, Google doesn't consider meta description. It was used only to display text below the title in search results. Maybe some other search engines still use it. As for social cards, there are generators like this one you only need to create an image. |
I can create an image if you want, I can check if the cover for SCIP can be used freely and create graphics based on it. I think that this illustration is from a very old book, so it should be in the public domain. I can create a few variations with eval/apply like Yin/yang. |
