Alignment of picturefill to the picture element spec

Is there discussion to align Picturefill with the the picture element spec?

The update would be to change the data-media attribute to media and the element being called <picture/> with <source/> as children.

A fork of srcset-polyfill would also be a nice addition for srcset alignment of the spec.
