There is no need to release discfit here, because the installed and the latest version can be shown by pip search discfit, the latest version can be installed by pip install -U discfit, and the latest package is available at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/discfit. However I may sometimes release here when I want to draw attention of the new feature or bug fix of the update.
