Seraphis Wallet Workgroup
The Seraphis wallet workgroup is a group of Monero devs that is currently implementing a "wallet" for Seraphis and Jamtis. This won't be an app like Cake Wallet or Monerujo, but an important component of the Monero core software that typical wallet apps will rely on.
Our place for meetings and ongoing discussions is a Matrix room called No Wallet Left Behind that is bridged to the Libera IRC channel #no-wallet-left-behind. The name of the room goes back to a GitHub issue written by the initiator of the workgroup, @rbrunner7, a bit over a year ago.
This is a big project, one of the biggest of the past years for Monero; devs interested to join are invited to read my GetMonero.org blog post Developer Opportunities at the Monero Project
How the path forward will look after completing the wallet is not yet clear; maybe our workgroup will go on and modify the rest of the codebase for Seraphis, or this will expand into a concerted effort of the wider Monero dev community. But for now, a name of Seraphis wallet workgroup will do :)
