We need to migrate from travisci to github actions if we want to have any CI coverage.

@jdm Hi, sorry for pinging you so often, but i would like to see a new freetype-sys upgrade and would be willing to contribute to CI.
#69 contains a combination of a github action CI and the respective change. but i could also produce seperate PRs if you see the risk to high. just tell me what do you need and i will provide it :)
