HomeKit Secure Video (HSV)

HSV can easily be enabled by "hsv": true in config.json. After switching on HSV, the camera should have adopted the HSV settings in the Home App. You can set the notification and object detection in the Home App.

FAQ

1) No HSV recordings

Apple needs some time to recognize the Camera as a HSV camera. What you can do is following:

• Restart your hub
• Disable/Enable „Stream & Record“ multiple times within the Home App

2) The recording process was aborted by HSV with reason ...

This is mostly due to a wrong config.json and/or camera settings. Please make sure that your camera is set up as follows:

Resolution: 1920x1080
FPS: 30
Keyframe Interval: 120 (Keyframe Interval = FPS x 4)
Bitrate: 2048 kbps (CBR)
