Thanks for yanking this outdated code. I'm looking into applying a similar patch to master now. I'll be releasing a new version of the gem shortly. |

As of today, August 31 of 2010, Twitter permanently disabled basic authentication to their API. This latest commit removes HTTP auth completely and updates the website information.
