Hi, just an idea. Would it be difficult to extend bat with a way to preview images (jpg, png) as ASCII art in the console?

Hi, thanks for sharing your idea. There are some previous discussions about this, where we decided not to implement this in bat, and currently our decision hasn't changed:

You may want to consider a tool like rsop (see #800 (comment)) which could use https://hpjansson.org/chafa/ to preview images using ascii art.
