• Problem description: The housing finance company wants to automate eligibility validation for interest-free home loans using customer details from the application form. The predictive model will determine loan qualification and predict the maximum loan amount based on factors like gender, education, income, and credit history.

• Problem solution: The approach used in this problem is to build a logistic regression model from scratch to classify customers into two groups (loan request approved, loan request rejected). Then use a linear regression model to predict the maximum loan amount that the customer could take.
