using siddhi for video analysis #785
Comments
@AnuGayan Can you please help out on this? |
Hi micuentadecasa, We have done a POC on video processing using siddhi through WSO2 DAS. please refer to the following link for more details. |
Hi Anusha, I would like to follow this conversation from my corporate
account molina4@un.org , anyway I present myself, I'm Technology
development associate in United Nations and my role is to incorporate new
technologies into UN, one of the projects under my umbrella is a media
server to get streams from drones and send them to a GIS (application
MCOP), I put below our low level architectural design:
I've seen your blog and the problem is that it seems that you are sending
the video, then dealing with it and then you send some details about the
processing to the ESB, but not transmitting the video to the ESB, correct
me if I'm wrong. Although in some diagrams of WSO2 it seems that video can
be sent to ESB and then managed via kafka, spark and so on...
what we want to do is :
1. send to ESB details about the different drones in JSON format (including
coordinates and an url to the stream), this information is placed on a GIS
2. when somebody clicks on the GIS over a camera the ESB should select the
nearly ESB to reduce bandwith (for example if the user is on Mission #1 the
ESB should select the media server from Mission 1 insted of UNGSC (United
Nations Global Service Center), this transmission is a stream from the
media server, not JSON,
so we don't know if it is possible to send the video trhough the ESB or it
should be sent on a different channel, for example a RTMP protocol.
please help me to clarify it..
regards.

Hi Luis,
As we mentioned in the blog, we did the video processing part out of the
WSO2 products without sending video feed in, as the video processing is a
very memory and process consuming task and since we did real-time
processing we had to use specific libraries for video processing.
In your case, as I understood you just need to send the related drone feed
into ESB and when someone requests a feed, you need to forward the feeds
from nearest ESB to reduce the bandwidth. Please confirm. If it so, it
won't be a problem to send video through ESB.
If you can further explane your scenario with components, it would be easy
to understand and I can initiate an internal discussion regarding your
requirement.
Thanks and Regards,
Anusha

I think that you got the idea, is that. Do you have any sample similar to
mine? any sample sending video through ESB?
regards.

Not really, Luis. We'll start an email discussion with you. |
Ok, let's use my corporative account, molina4@un.org. I have seen that your
lastname is Fernando or maybe is the name?

Hi, I want to use Siddhi to do video analysis, is it possible, because I saw many tutorials about using streams like quotes stream and so on but nothing about streaming video, do you have any sample about this?
