Review SOP for LBM arXiv paper

@peter-michalski, I have finally completed the full draft of the SOP for LBM paper. Please go through the paper to look for editing errors, inconsistencies and any problems.

Once you are done your pass, we'll get @JacquesCarette to review the key parts. Dr. Motamed will also be reviewing the paper. She has an interesting idea that we might be able to publish it as a book chapter.

I'm going to set it aside for the rest of today, but I'll be doing some editing as well. As always, please do frequent commits to make sure we can minimize potential merge conflicts. I'll do the same.
