@hugtalbot extension (py) is only supported if the plugin SofaPython3 is loaded. SofaPython3 must be loaded first before being able to load the file even I have changed the type of the file from *.pyscn to *.py. |

Hello, I assume you are running your scene with the runSofa executable. In this case you can use the >>> runSofa -h
-l, --load arg load given plugins
>>> runSofa -l SofaPython3 scene.py |

Yes there is other ways to make sure the SofaPython3 plugin is well loaded:
runSofa
with no scene file), in the menu bar click onEdit
>PluginManager
>Add
and then browse and select the SofaPython dynamic library. In the SOFA release, it is located in RELEASE/plugins/SofaPython3/lib/ (or bin/ on Windows)Hope this helps
