Yes there is other ways to make sure the SofaPython3 plugin is well loaded:

  • graphic mode: you can open SOFA (only launching runSofa with no scene file), in the menu bar click on Edit > PluginManager > Add and then browse and select the SofaPython dynamic library. In the SOFA release, it is located in RELEASE/plugins/SofaPython3/lib/ (or bin/ on Windows)
  • manually: you can edit the file listing the loaded plugins named plugin_list.conf and add the SofaPython3 plugin. In the SOFA release, it is located in RELEASE/lib/.
