I went a deeper and found that: this is impossible. By nature, Slide animation functions use the size of the screen, not the component in which it is inserted. You can see just above at the source code that it reads "Dimensions.get('window') );" My goal now is to make a custom animation that is given a specific dimensions. I can share this later. If there is any other solution, let me know. |

Hello,
These squares (blue and red) are inside this View, which has a black background. But the "entering" and "exiting" animations still take into account the entire screen. How can I make it only take into account the height of View the squares are in?
I understand that "overflow: hidden" can solve this visually, but the animation will still take longer to appear on the screen as it takes the screen size into account.

I saw this tweet from Krzysztof, but I can't reproduce it the same.
