Make CoC a mandatory field #72
Conversation
Hi @rinkkasatiainen, @mdclement, @rubendm92, (Socrates Day CH people), @poschi3 - do you mind looking into updating your conference with a link to your code of conduct? If you post it here, I can work it into the PR right away 👍 |
Hi @rradczewski I forwarded your request to the organization team of the Software Engineering Camp |
Code of conduct for Socrates Canaries @rradczewski #74 :) |
Working on one for codefreeze, first draft is done so just waiting for feedback to add it. codefreezefi/codefreeze.fi#143 |
@patbaumgartner care to add the link for SoCraTes Day CH? |
Thanks @franziskas and @rradczewski ! The SoCraTes CH website has already a very slim CoC. We will update it as well. But thanks to your hin, I made it a requirement when registering for the event.

When will the CoC become mandatory? |
I personally wouldn't merge this PR (thus making it mandatory) until we add an explanation to the "add a conference" guides, and of course before we've heard from the conferences listed above. |
Codefreeze now has a Code of Conduct: https://codefreeze.fi/#code-of-conduct |
I would really like to help make the Code of Conduct mandatory for listings on https://www.softwarecrafters.org/. What can I do to help? @rradczewski |

@rradczewski I've appended your PR, so you can't use the GitHub review feature. Nevertheless please review! |
Approved :) |
Requires these conferences to add their (/a) Code of Conduct:
