  1. Run the below sample: http://jsfiddle.net/soundar24/LpuLe9tr/698/
  2. Type "-55" in the tooltip box and press enter
  3. Now the value changes to positive (55) instead of (-55)

The reported issue can be solved by the below workaround, and this will be included in the next version.
