Environment

  • Smapp version: 1.3.1
  • Node version: doesn't say
  • OS: Windows 10 |

Describe the bug

When downloading this update, Kaspersky Antivirus triggers and deletes the whole app.

When downloading the setup from here, it also triggers and gets deleted.

Steps to reproduce

Have Kaspersky, download this, profit.

Expected behavior

App should update

Actual behavior

App gets deleted

Does the same happen when you try to download them directly from https://github.com/spacemeshos/smapp/releases/tag/v1.3.1 ?

It's not the setup file that triggers Kaspersky. It's when you open the file and let the setup run. About halfway through, the antivirus will trigger, abort the setup and delete the file and the entire spacemesh program.

A virus search of the setup itself will yield no alarms. And disabling the antivirus, installing the program, starting the antivirus back up again and letting the now installed app run will also cause no problems.

The issue here is only with running the installer. All of the 1.3 versions btw. so 1.3.1, 1.3.2 and 1.3.3

And yes, like I said, this also applies to downloading the setup from here.
