This PR adds support for PHP 8.1 to the tests workflow. Additionally, it:

  • drops support for PHP < 7.4
  • drops support for Laravel < 8.x
  • updates the php-cs-fixer workflow and config file
  • updates the PHPUnit config file to be in line with other packages
  • adds the update changelog workflow

This repository needs its primary branch renamed from master to main.
