Things like setting up issue templates, updating the readme and such.

@Silverarmor EDIT:

  • Feature Request template
  • Automatic GitHub actions for publishing releases to PyPi
  • Automatic GitHub action to draft release notes
  • Readme clean up.
  • Clean up /Code Docs/codeGuidelines.md, /Design Docs/CORE VALUES.md, /CONTRIBUTING.md

Possibly to do?

  • Code of Conduct?
  • branch protection rules
  • code scanning?

@phcreery is working on the readme. More changes might be required.

Issue template for bug report is done.

Possibly to create an issue template for "Feature Requests", which links users to #867.
Or Possibly to clean up #867 and get a better feature request system.

@MikhailZex You happy if we deprecate #867 and move to a system where feature requests each have their own issue, and are just labelled with feature-request?

That would be much better. We need to set up a template for that. I'll send a draft within 10 hours.
