I'll make a note to add a svg option to Chart.save() and Chart.show()

In the meantime you can fall back on Bokeh's instructions here. Just replace plot with ch.figure.

This is a critical feature... especially for exporting to web/mobile.

Will add to the next release this week.

Note there's an underlying bug in Bokeh so scatter plots won't work correctly: bokeh/bokeh#8446
