Switched to use the tmp_relation to retrieve the columns and then add a list of fields to insert into otherwise data type mismatches happen when inserting ordinally.

Test are failing due to dbt-labs/dbt-core#4745. It has been resolved by dbt-labs/dbt-core#4746. Upgrade to dbt-core v1.0.3 #50 resolves it in dbt-trino. |
