When I copy and paste a blockquote from web pages to Bard or when I enter a blockquote manually in the source by adding something like this line:

sssss

. When I get out from source and continue to editing blockquote after that I can't remove blockquote with delete key (Mac). Just 'return' key works and it only expands the blockquote.
Also after pushing return key, plus button appears and after choosing an option all the blockquote will be deleted.
Blockquote without
tag inside works normally.

Chrome Version 64.0.3282.167

I'm not sure we can actually do anything about this as it's a contenteditable driven situation. Perhaps you can turn off paste as HTML and then just highlight + convert the appropriate text to
?
