Hi,

I just have a small issue. I'm trying to find the p-value of an ANOVA test. The code worked perfectly and returned a DataFrame with the final column labeled as "PR(>F)". When I went to double check if this was the same as a p-value, I noticed that the documentation for what is returned by the ANOVA function appears to be incomplete:

https://github.com/statsmodels/statsmodels/blob/master/statsmodels/stats/anova.py#L293

Cheers!

Thanks for reporting.

Yes, it's the p-value based on the F distribution.

@bashtage can we close this issue, after the commit mess PR I did the auto-close did not happen, but the clean PR #5246 addresses this issue.

Did not want to leave loose ends laying around before I moved on.
