Hello. Thank you so much for making this themer, I have really enjoyed it. However, I want to start experimenting with my own themes and setups. What is the best way to uninstall this themer and revert back to stock i3 settings?

Thanks!

Hello sir!

There is no "best" way to do it, but I can think of a couple ok way. First, if you have already kept a backup of you "original" setup using the backup option from the script then you should be able to follow the instructions and restore it.

The second way (the one I would probably use in your case) is to simply copy the default configurations to where they are supposed to be. For example (in my case) /etc/i3/config contains the "original" i3 configuration file.

I know that is not much, but I really haven't given much though on the uninstall case :P I usually just delete everything and start over >.<

sudo apt-get purge i3
Solved my issue, I was trying to uninstall i3 from scratch tho. Just deleted i3wm-themer and changed my $mod key to alt. I'm confused lmao.

As proposed in the issue(stav121#107) this patch will tell the users of Debian and Fedora-based distributions to use my fork of i3-themer which is specially made for these distributions. Every Debian user is advised to close their issues on this repository and move them to the Debian-based fork.
