Welcome to the Steffi wiki!
Steffi is a distributed, in-memory graph storage developed at EURA NOVA in 2013 as a research project and open sourced in beginning of 2012 under the GPL license. The project is currently in an "incubation" phase, which means that Steffi can be used, forked, tested, integrated by anyone who wants to play with significant graphs and in the meantime EURA NOVA and the Steffi team continues to develop a "product version" and to push development as they come.
The current version can be installed by using maven and git, however we are currently preparing a Continuous integration build from which we would be able to directly get a packaged version with start/stop scripts. Going further, we are integrating an open source package for automating the ZeroMQ installation whatever platform you are. For the Steffi team, we have defined common rules to contribute and to develop around Steffi. The guidelines are defined in the Contributor Handbook page.
Steffi will be provided in two flavors:
- The Community edition is available under the GPL licence.
- The Enterprise edition will be available under a commercial licence and will provide additional features and support options.
Contributions to the project will need to be contributed through a Contributor License Agreement (CLA).
