WG15N81 AP238e2 Working Draft

This release reworks the module references in both ARM and AIM for more thorough integration and clearly defined inter-operation with AP242, updates the UOFs and application object definitions to match, adds a UOF for additive process defined by ISO 14649-17, updates the EXPRESS-G ARM model with an active SVG diagram containing links, and updates the long form to match the current state of AP242e2.

WG15N36 AP238e2 Working Draft

This release has converted references to modules to harmonize with the latest AP242.

Within the manufacturing feature, GD&T, and Management UoFs, the document now references modules rather than define local application objects and mappings. Within the ARM, these module refs are handled in the same way as ISO 14649 refs. Updated refs for the shape reps and features, tolerances, dimensions, and associative presentation PMI. Added module refs for tesselated, point cloud, and construction geometry shape reps, additive setup and kinematic description of machine tool models. Imported management modules 1012-1015 rather than defining the assignments locally. Renamed schema to match the new AP title. Updated long-form schema and all supporting material.

Baseline with TC Fixes for AP238e2 Development

This is the baseline with specific changes based on experience accumulated 2007-2016 from first edition deployment. This working document release has a new Annex K change log that describes the changes in detail.

These changes were originally documented in TC184/SC4/WG15N2. Prior to the start of second edition work, these were circulated as a proposed technical corrigendum (TC).

Baseline for AP238e2 Development

This is the baseline technical content prior to the addition of second edition extensions.

It has been converted to HTML in the pattern of the recent Part 21e3 document. Each clause is in a file and most subclauses have a mnemonic anchor. The mappings are converted to specifications rather than tables, All figures have been updated to SVG.
