New features in v3.9:
- YouTube module. There are far too few YouTube studies, especially compared to Twitter Studies. Get started!
- Reworked preset system. Presets are directly loaded from GitHub. Basic presets are updated to reflect changes in Facebook API.
- Checkbox to clear settings when closing. This should be helpful on public machines. It will wipe out access tokens when closing.
- Header fields in Generic module and Files module. This way you can interact with Googles Cloud APIs, for example, as it needs authorization by header fields (Bearer token).
- Edit buttons next to the parameters. Longer parameters are now easier to edit, e.g. when using SPARQL queries on DBPedia or Wikidata.
- Unified settings interface in all modules.
- Clickable status bar: open preset folder or database folder
- Improved error logging and handling.
- Bug fixes and minor improvements.
And finally....not Windows only, but a new Mac version as well.
New features in v.3.8:
- New export options: remove line break and select separator
- Option to disable logging of every single request; output summary instead.
- Bug fixes, e.g. "global name 'sleep' is not defined"
New features in v.3.7:
- Added experimental export options: long or wide format, fast&unsorted or slow&sorted, choose to use byte order mark.
- Fields for app credentials and special permissions: use your own Facebook or Twitter app
- Fields for basepath: select API version in Facebook and Twitter tab
- Wildcards in keys/placeholders for complex data types (dicts)
- Fixed bad screen position on smaller screens.
- Bug fixes
New features in v.3.6:
- new settings: control the number of threads, the maximum speed and filter nodes
- fixed pagination-error: paginating twitter results via the "page"-parameter is less error-prone and only aborts till there is no result left
- improved statistics shown in the progressbar (while requesting new data)
- fixed unicode errors
New features in v.3.5:
- New API: Fetch data from the Twitter Streaming API
- Facebook & Twitter API Documentation (Tooltips)
- Refurbished User-Interfaces for the JSON-View and the Node/Data-View
- Tooltips for the buttons
- Selective Exports (via node-selection; see the tooltip for the "Export"-Button)
- simple File-Downloader (download pictures etc.)
- New statusbar with more information, runtime-estimation
- Multi-Threading for the data-collection (faster!)
