SteamGridDb Integration

This page contains how to use the SteamGridDb plugin for Alfae.

Logging in

Before you are able to use the SteamGridDb service, you need to log into the service.

1. Open Alfae
2. Go to Plugins > SteamGridDb - vX.X.X > Log in
3. Get your Api Key by going to this SteamGridDb page, and paste it into the Api Key: field
4. Press the Login button

Changing the cover of a game

Make sure you're logged into SteamGridDb first, otherwise the button will be greyed out.

1. Open Alfae
2. Highlight a game and press 'More'
3. Press 'Edit Cover'
4. Click on a cover to set the new cover

Changing the background of a game

Make sure you're logged into SteamGridDb first, otherwise the button will be greyed out.

1. Open Alfae
2. Highlight a game and press 'More'
3. Press 'Edit Background'
4. Click on a backgrond to set the new background

Setting covers and backgrounds on all games

Make sure you're logged into SteamGridDb first, otherwise the menu option will not exist.

1. Open Alfae
2. Go to Plugins > SteamGridDb - vX.X.X > Set images on installed games with missing images
