This is a project aiming to provide an alternative experience of douban.fm . Without using flash player, without open unnecessary browser, your new douban.fm will have full integration with Gnome desktop, music control indicator (which coming in Ubuntu 10.10) . Also, you will have full feature enabled on desktop just as using the official flash player.

Exaile is considered to be one of the most famous music player on Gnome desktop. As a plus, it also has a extensible architecture which makes plug-in development easy. ( Especially when comparing with Rhythmbox)

This project will also maintain a python wrapper for douban.fm json api, libdbfm.
