email sent incompletely under certain circumstances

A mail with a specific body is sent incompletely with quoted printable encoding. The issue is caused by d03b11d. https://gist.github.com/1391209 contains the mail body for a failing "test case".

The problem is that a lone dot (which means end of data in smtp) is not replaced by dot dot but from that changelog I really cannot figure out why this happens.

Got fixed with 36a71ee by reverting the commit mentioned initially.
