Hello Linux Package Maintainers 👋

Synergy Core (this GitHub repository) is licensed under GPLv2, meaning that it can be freely modified and redistributed.

We charge for access to our downloads page which provides the binaries that we build for our customers, and this allows us to fund further development of the software. However, since the source code for Synergy Core is open source, you're free to build it yourself and redistribute the binary on Linux package repositories.

To compile on Linux, follow our Linux Compiling instructions.
