I can't tag anything with the "Google tags", I have to create new "Tasks" tags to use. Well fine, but then when I download the app tip a new device, the tasks sync, but the tags do not, I have to set them up all over again; not worth all the trouble.

I love the app. The fact that Tags don't sync across devices stops it from being a super app.

Exactly. It is almost the perfect app for work organisation. Just this tag sync issue with google tasks is the last feature making this app complete for basic todo organisation.

Yeah, tag sync via CalDAV hasn't been implemented yet

Tags are supported for iCalendar-based synchronization. Unfortunately this isn't really possible for Google Tasks without resorting to hacks
